Week 3 Challenge 2016

It's Week Three of our Summer Reading Blog Challenge.  How is your reading going?

Take a peek at what Wesley H., Grade 2, has been reading this week.
Stuck by Oliver Jeffers
Floyd is the main character in Stuck. His kite got stuck in a tree. He threw everything in the tree to get it out. He threw two boats, a long distance truck, a whale, firefighters, a fire truck, an orangutan, a house, and milkman into the tree. They all got stuck. Read this book to find out if Floyd gets his kite back.

This is a funny story.  Listen as the author reads part of it to you...

Week 2 Challenge 2016

It's Week Two of our Summer Reading Blog Challenge.  How is your reading going?  Quite a few of our bloggers answered that question last week.

If you are wondering what book to read next, here is a suggestion from Kylie H, Grade 3.
Geronimo Stilton: The Secret of Cacklefur Castle
I am reading the book Geronimo Stilton: The Secret of Cacklefur Castle. Geronimo was working, then Thea stopped by. She said to Geronimo that she was worried about him because he wasn't writing in the newspaper anymore.  More people asked why he wasn't writing. I predict that Geronimo will write something new.  What do you think? Read the Secret of Cacklefur Castle to find out.
