This week I am reading Magic Tree House #20: Dingoes at Dinnertime. Jack and Annie found a little joey (which is a baby kangaroo), and they wanted to find the joey's mommy. When Jack and Annie try to find his mommy, they discovered a wildfire. Then they went back to the spot they found the joey. They heard a slapping noise, and it was the mommy! We have three chapters to go yet!

I am reading a Doc McStuffins: Bubble Trouble. It is about three friends who were playing with bubbles. A girl named Alma refills up the bubble maker. When they turn it on, the bubbles don't come out. My favorite thing about this book is that they can fix the bubble maker, because they show Alma what to use and what not to use.

I just finished the book Bunnicula: A Rabbit Tale of Mystery. It was AWESOME. In the book a family brought home a bunny that had glowing red eyes and fangs! There was a cat named Chester and Chester thought the bunny was a vampire. I would love to have a pet like Bunnicula!

I am reading The Last Hope, which is in the WARRIORS series. My favorite character is Firestar, because the other characters trust him. Firestar is also brave and strong. He won't do something he doesn't agree with. That is why he is my favorite character.

It all started when Jack and Annie see a seagull so they go through the woods and towards the tree house. Next they travaled to an island in the 1870,s and meet captin Henry. Then captin Henry let them aboard his ship.

ReplyDeleteIn "Lone Wolf", Foalan is in the Outermost, where there are few trees, lots of caves without bears and wolves he doesn't know. He was hunting and wandered there and now he is lost. Foalan has found the Cave Before Time and finds cave drawings of stories about wolves, caribou and owls. I am enjoying this book and hope to finish it this week.

ReplyDeleteI read Magic Tree House books #9-#12 Dolphins at Daybreak, Ghost Town at Sundown, Lions at Lunchtime, Polar Bears Past Bedtime. In all four books Jack and Annie have to solve a riddle to become Master Librarians. Now that they are Master Librarians when they go places only the people that can help them can see the secret ML on their library cards. If you want to see how Jack and Annie solve the riddles and become Master Librarians read these books.

ReplyDeleteThis week I have been reading "Magic Tree House #22: Revolutionary War on Wednesday." In this book Jack and Annie have a mission to send something. And the Captain gave Jack and Annie a card to give to his children if he didn't live through the fight, his children would know he loved them. They are currently in a boat with George Washington and are crossing the Delaware River! It is Christmas day!

ReplyDeleteI read Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot. In this book, a little boy named Ricky saw an evil scientist destroying a robot. When he saw that he was at school. At recess he kicked a ball as hard as he could at the evil scientist's head. Then the boy and the robot became friends. Then the evil scientist made a mutant lizard. The robot fought the lizard and beat it. Then they put the evil scientist in jail.

ReplyDeleteI am reading ''Nancy Drew and the secret of the old clock.'' In this book Nancy tried to find Josiah Crowley's second will, which he mentioned to his nurse as he was dying. But trouble is around every corner, so before the case is solved, Nancy Drew meets some nasty sisters, and gets locked in a closet to die. In the end Nancy finally finds the will in an old clock.

ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Whatever After Beauty Queen it is about two children Abby and Jonah who have a magic mirror in their basement that takes them into fairytales but somehow every time they go they mess up the fairy tale and then they have to figure out how to fix the fairy tale. In this particular story they mess up the fairy tale (beauty and the beast) by making the beast not want to marry beauty (Belle) anymore. Will Abby and Jonah find a way to fix the fairy tale?

ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Annie the Apple Pie Fairy it is about a fairy who loves cooking apple pies. She is a cook on a cooking show then another fairy showed up and Annie the Apple Fairy thought she was trying to take her place. Do you think in the end the fairy will be able to take Annie's place?
MMMM... I will have to read to find out! Does the other Fairy bake apple pies or a different kind? I like cream pies the best!

DeleteJacob a grade 5: In book 5,6 and 7 Will has been finally a Ranger. In book 5 and 6 Will had been planning a rescue for Alyss when she got captured on a mission. Book 7 was a flash back to when will was on his last mission with his mentor.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Frozen The Cinestory. Right now I just read that Anna and Kristoff just meet Olaf and they asked if he knew where Elsa was and he said that he did. But back at Arendelle Hans is trying to keep everything under control then Anna's horse comes back and then Hans starters to worrier so he makes a search group so he can look for Anna. Later in the story Olaf was taking them to Elsa and they found her and Anna tries to get her back home but then she just gets angry and ice goes flying and it hits Anna in the heart and then Kristoff comes in and is making sure she is alright and she was for now. Then Elsa made a snowman to kick them out. Anna got angry and threw a snowball and made him even more angery and he started to chase after them. But they try to get away. They where almost there but not enough. Later Anna's hair was turning white and they go see Kristoff 's firends. Elsa was acting like a monster to guys then she falls and passes out and she wakes up and she is in the dongen she looks out side and she feels sad. Then Anna comes back to get a kiss from Hans will Elsa gets away. Olaf finds Anna locked in and is all cool. Then Olaf helps Anna up to go get Kristoff to get a kiss but as she was walking she saw Elsa about to get killed and Anna stopped because Anna was frozen which made Hans sword brake and he got hurt. then Elsa made Anna alive again which made Elsa realize that love will thaw. Then Anna took care of Hans. Then Anna took Kristoff and showed him his new sled and they kissed.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading a book called Sisters by Raina Telgemeier. The family is having dinner and they are talking about going on a trip. The sisters are fighting. One sister wonders why she ever asked for a sister. Then she remembers when her sister was born. While they pack for the trip she remembers more of when her sister was little. They pack the car and leave but the dad stays home because he has to work. They are on the road. That's where I read to so far.

DeleteI read How to Train your Dragon, The Chapter Book by J. E. Bright. It is about Vikings on an island named Berk that fight dragons. One boy named Hiccup shots down a night fury and finds it in the woods. He cuts the rope setting the dragon free. The next day he goes back and gives the dragon a fish. He notices the dragons hurt tail, then that night he makes a new tail fin for the dragon and in the morning he brings a basket of fish to the dragon and puts on the tail fin while the dragon is eating. The rest of the story is about how they become friends and how Toothless saves Hiccup. To find out the end read this book, then watch the movie. Natalie Z. Grade 2

DeleteEmily B Grade 2 - I've been reading Ivy & Bean Doomed to Dance. Ivy and Bean are best friends and decide they want to go to dance class, but when they get to dance class they begin to think maybe it wasn't such a good idea.
