I am reading a book called Annie the Apple Pie Fairy. It is about a fairy who loves cooking apple pies. She is a cook on a cooking show. Then another fairy showed up, and Annie the Apple Fairy thought she was trying to take her place. Do you think in the end the fairy will be able to take Annie's place?

I read Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot. In this book, a little boy named Ricky saw an evil scientist destroying a robot. When he saw that, he was at school. At recess he kicked a ball as hard as he could at the evil scientist's head. Then the boy and the robot became friends. The evil scientist made a mutant lizard. The robot fought the lizard and beat it. Then they put the evil scientist in jail.

I am reading the BFG by Roald Dahl. It is a funny book about a giant that is funny and nice and helps a little girl.

In Lone Wolf, Foalan is in the Outermost, where there are few trees, lots of caves without bears, and wolves he doesn't know. He was hunting and wandered there and now he is lost. Foalan has found the Cave Before Time and finds cave drawings of stories about wolves, caribou, and owls. I am enjoying this book.

DeleteWhen I was in 1st grade at my old school we made flat Stanly and we got to have about 3 weeks off to go and take pictures of you traveling with Stanly! I had a lot of fun and I still like to read the books!

ReplyDeleteI am reading DIARY OF A WIMPY KID. The book is about the cheese touch. The cheese was
found last spring on the basketball court. Someone touched it and that is how the cheese touch was made.
I think the cheese touch is the funniest part of the book Hunter. My sons and I like to tease each other with that joke. - Mrs. Strayer

I read Eerie Elementary The school is alive by Jack Chabert. It is about a boy names Sam who is the hall monitor and he doesn't like to be the hall monitor. When he goes outside to tell a classmate to come to class, quicksand tries to eat him, so Mr. Nekobi saves him. Then he goes to class and they are going to have a play. Mrs. Grinker tells everyone whose part is whose. After class, Sam makes sure everyone leaves the school, and he falls asleep in a chair outside the principals office. Then the school goes crazy and Mr. Nekobi comes in and helps get Sam out of the school. Read the book to find out more. Natalie Z. grade 2

ReplyDeleteMy book is called The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear. A little mouse went out one day and saw a strawberry he wanted to pick. He heard about the big hungry bear. He got scared of the bear and he hugged the strawberry. Then he picked it and he tried to bury it. Then he went inside and tried to lock it up. Then he disguised it and hid it under a tablecloth. Then the mouse sliced it in half and ate half of it and shared half of it with me. The mouse took a nap in a hammock with a strawberry stem on his head.
I love the illustrations in that book Caly. I think the one where the mouse disguises the strawberry with the glasses and nose is funny!!! -Mrs. Strayer

The king sent all the evil villains and their children to the Isle of the Lost. I am really liking the book right now and I can't wait to see how the story continues and ends.

Emily B. Grade 2, I am still reading Ivy & Bean Doomed to Dance. this week the girls decided they didn't really like dance class anymore, at the end of each class they have to pretend to be butterflies and Ivy and Bean didn't like pretending to be butterflies. Will they keep going?

ReplyDeleteI just finish Frozen The Cinestory. Anna has just shown Kristoff his new sled then they kissed. Then Elsa made a promise that she will not let the doors close again. Then I started a new book called How To Speak Dolphins. What I have read so far is that their was a new born dolphin and a kid was aloud to to name the dolphin and dolphins calm him down.

ReplyDeleteI read the Magic Tree House books #17-20, Tonight on the Titanic, Buffalo before Breakfast, tigers at Twilight, and Dingoes at Dinnertime. There was a boy named Teddy who was messing with Morgan's magic and was turned into a dog. Annie and Jack had to solve a riddle in each adventure to free Teddy from the spell. Read the books to see if they could do it! My favorite book of the four was Tigers at Twilight.

They were looking for a writing and they found it thru the teacher's lesson. They were getting ready to go back home when they saw a twister heading for the school. Jack and Annie ran back to the school to help save the friends they made.

ReplyDeleteI read Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets. In this book, Captain Underpants fought a bunch of tiny toilets and beat the tiny toilets. Then, there was a big toilet. Captain Underpants fought the big toilet and he lost against the big toilet. Then, George and Harold made a big robot with a plunger and the robot beat the big toilet.
